Sometimes weird stuff really interests me. Today, I have been contemplating the likelihood that the Ethiopian monk in this picture is the keeper of the Ark of the Covenant. That is what he claims. Here is an interview with him.
If he's not the keeper of the Ark, then he's a liar. Or just really deluded.

It is good that Rennier does not do drugs. Otherwise, the Good Lord only knows what weird stuff he would claim.

I'm it's guardian. I know the nature of the thing I guard.
I don't buy the legend, so I don't think this is The Ark. We all know the real Ark is in a huge US gov. warehouse after Indy found it.
I actually saw this story on TV once, which makes it seem more believable to me.
Timkat is the feast of the Epiphany if I'm not mistaken. I'd love to have a look.... but then if it is true, even that could be dangerous.
