The Bishops overwhelmingly rejected a “Pastoral Scheme” that was proposed by the Primates of the Anglican Communion at their February meeting in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. By doing so, the bishops reaffirmed that the Episcopal Church is a self-governing, autonomous church, and that it is not divided.
Hahahaha! Indeed! And the earth is flat, and the Episcopal Church is vibrant and growing. If you say so, Father. Read it all here.

"Differences among Episcopalians are ours to resolve, and the spirit of the House of Bishops was respectful of differences."
Now all of a sudden our differences are merely 'differences' that can be resolved easily in-house if those pesky foreigners would just keep from meddling? In a critque that borrows from post-colonialism, that's not how it looks from under Bp. Lee's iron legal fist. Ask his own churches that he's suing whether the house of bishops is respectful. This is outrageous.
And I ditto everythig Babyblue wrote about the words 'foreign prelates'. When the HoB comes down off their New Reformation high, complete with Reformation language, they'll find a very different world than that Bp. Lee thinks is out there.
"Oh, life is a glorious cycle of song,
A medley of extemporanea;
And love is a thing that can never go wrong;
And I am Marie of Roumania."
Indeed, Fr., the bishops DID reaffirm that the Episcopal Church is a self-governing, autonomous "church"..."
