from the inclusive worshipper

From my new favorite blog:

I’m also upset that, even after my complaints, the Episcopalians continue to hold services on Wednesday evenings that don’t follow the chapel’s inclusive language guidelines. If they won’t be inclusive then they should be kicked out, it’s that simple. Some of them are very narrow-minded and their neo-puritan fundamentalism shouldn’t be tolerated here. It makes my blood boil even writing about it. I’m going to have to complain to the dean until something gets done.

WB,

This girl is a freak. Who is she? I can't believe her diploma will say the same thing as mine.

I don't know, but I thought it was for real. I'll give that the "Rent" post seems a little extreme, even for a left-winger. But didn't Trinity Wall Street do that clown/mime mass? There are people like that out there, so my vote is that it's for real. Which is sad. But isn't she with y'all at YDS? Aren't there scores of that sort there, WB?

Maybe it is all joke, in which case it is New Humour par excellence!

I don't know why you think this is a joke. Music from Rent was played at today's chapel. You can ask anyone who was there, and I'm sure service bulletins are still available. I'm not making this up. We may be on the cutting edge of mainline protestantism here, but it's coming soon to a parish near you (when we graduate). The old reactionaries can't hang on forever.

Why Rent? I always thought The Sun Will Come Up Tomorrow from Annie would make a marvelous recessional for Holy Saturday. And, of course, Like a Virgin for the Immaculate Conception :-)

Why don't you just admit that you are IW?

IW can't admit who she is because that would be an exclusive statement. She has no "one" identity...she is all inclusive. So inclusive that the bitch shut off all the access to her previous post because we were being patriarchal and oppressive.

Like my Father use to say: "Women should be chained to the bed with just enough slack to get to the kitchen."

anonymous: I think that last comment was uncalled for. So the woman's a fruitcake, we shouldn't justify her complaints with remarks like that.

That being said, I find it hillarious that it's the Episcopalians who are the "conservatives" in this. How funny. I got such a laugh out of reading the first few posts that I would have loved to see the archives. I applaud any administrator who could keep a straight face when the "Seminarians for Polyamory awareness" dropped by to ask to be recognized as a student group....

of course, the really sad thing is that so many fence sitters (add an h if you want) don't understand that this is the natural progression of the gay agenda.

I think Jody is the inclusive worshipper...Don't they do stuff like that down there at Sewanee?
