but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back

Friends, please say a prayer for the repose of the souls of Rachel and Robert. Rachel was my grandmother. She died Sunday night at the age of 81. She died while dancing. I'm not joking. Robert was a dear friend, and a professor of political science. He wrote THE book on Rousseau. He died of cancer, after a protracted struggle. Just before he came to need hospice care and lost his ability to communicate, he renounced Satan and all his pomps, and was reborn in Christ through Baptism, administered (it being an emergency) by MM.

Thanks be to God. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

I will pray for both of them, and for you and MM as well. May God's peace be with you.

I thank God for your friend's final decision to embrace the Lord ... and to die while dancing is somehow a testament to your grandmother's life. I am sorry for your loss ... and will pray for both of them tonight.
